Audio Crackles and Pops buzzing, when using sliders

Hello people,  I am experiencing audio glitches when using the sliders in X3b.  I did not have this issue with X2.  The noise seems to only happen during playback and recording a new track.  I am using a Logitech M705 USB mouse as I used in X2.   I have ran through most of the optimizing of my system but to no avail.  I have ran the DPC latency test and see no spikes from the mouse movement.  Also the processor and hard drive are staying at low demand or use.  
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I think I have found the problem.  The play audio effects tails was changed in X3 to Always Stream Audio Through FX option. Un-checking the box in preferences (Edit > Preferences > Audio - Playback and Recording)  seems to have fixed the issue.
