Sonar X3 Input Echo

Hi
I have 3 tracks. 
 
  1. Real Guitar playing chords (great) recorded
  2. Dimension Pro Playing strings (not bad) recorded
  3. Ministry of Rock 2 Playing lead Guitar ( Not Good) why because when I am playing the lead notes using my keyboard the strings are playing a single note also.
I have tried switching off the input echo on the track for Dim Pro.
Driving me nuts.
Help Please

    Is it possible the automatic echo arming is doing this on DP instance?
     
    Try to turn off automatic echo of active track - or something - in preferences.
     
    This has confused me a couple of times too, that another track is activated and suddenly has echo on.

    You can also set your input on the strings track to none when you are recording the other track (this may not be the best way but it works for me).

    Another source of potential confusion is with the "in focus" status of the track.
     
    Make sure that your string track is neither selected, nor has the focus.
