auto punch

When i'm recording midi and punch In the first beat Is not there. Like when I'm playing bass the first won't record. What do I need to do?

    My guess would be that you need to ensure the MIDI ON event occurs after recording starts. If it occurs before recording starts the event won't be recorded.

    I usually take off the "snap to" function and slide the punch in point to right after the last note before the measure I'm trying to correct.
