[Solved] "Dozens of Addictive Drums Presets" Really? Where?

'Cause when I bring it up I only get like 5 or 6 drum presets.

What am I missing here?

This will find you some.....
Click on Beats top right.
Next click on one you like, your in business.
Click on all categories
Click on a drum genre selection
This reduced the number but is for that genre.
Also nother method...
Click on Vintage years OR one of the kits you had selected in the top left window.....continue NEXT step
Slide to bottom of drop down and select AD
Select one of the Kit genre and
A drop down appears.
Select one you want your in business.

There should be a submenu named AD at the bottom of the preset menu. Under that menu you should have Clean, Distorted, Electronica, LoFi, PopRock, etc. Are you not seeing that? Definitely dozens of presets there.

All the folders are collapsed and you have to open them up or expand them.

You can get a lot of variety out of the AD kits, they are quite tweakable.

There used to be a variety of free AD Presets available from various places on the web but almost all of them seem to have disappeared.

On the XLN forum they used to have a lot, unfortunately most of those were lost when the web site got upgraded a couple of years back. They still have some under  Presets & Beats .

FYI, some of the presets in that first link require add-on packs. They still load, but will indicate missing instruments.  One can easily sub resident instrumnents

Here's a few more presets if those are not enough:

Great source.
Note - His stuff is on a Google drive. I think that you need to have a Google account and be logged in before you can access them, otherwise you get a cryptic error message.

No problem here. I just clicked on them and got an option to open or download (arrow) down right.

Same here - one ZIP and one RAR file.    And I don't think I've been Google assimilated yet.    At least, not that I'm aware....

Nope, no YouTube acount.   I do have one with Soundcloud though.

I frequent a number of forums, but other than that I guess I'm fairly anti-online-social.

Youtube, GMail, Google+, etc. all share the same login.

My experience was that I couldn't access the files, even after repeated tries until I logged on one of the accounts.
I did comment on it to TheBuddahRats, so possibly he was able to change a setting - don't know...

Happy that you didn't have any hassle accessing the presets - if you find them useful toss a small donation his way.

There should be a submenu named AD at the bottom of the preset menu. Under that menu you should have Clean, Distorted, Electronica, LoFi, PopRock, etc. Are you not seeing that? Definitely dozens of presets there.

Thanks for the tip!
