DuneTime - My KVR CM-OSC entry

https://soundcloud.com/examigan/examigan-dunetime-cm-osc

This is my song entry for the CM One Synth Challenge (OSC) on KVR.
They let you pick one CM synth, and see what you can come up with.

I used 13 instances of DuneCM, (no other synth or drum plugins allowed) and also used KjaerhusAudio Delay, EpicVerb, a Gate, and Eq for many tracks, also used the W1 Limiter.
We can only use free effects or ones that come with the DAW (it's in the rules), and they can't modulate the signal much at all. So flanger, chorus, phasers, etc. aren't allowed.

Built-in synth effects are ok, but DuneCM doesn't have any, so it was a bit of a "challenge".

Yeah - this truely eighties right here! Man, after the intro, I was waiting for Eddie Murphy to burst out some vocals about his girl who wanted to party all the time! I have a weak spot for eighties synth sound. I am just not so much into instrumentals...are vocals allowed in this competition? In any way, I am liking what I hear here, and if the intention of the competition is make people curios for CM synths, they succeeded!

Yea, sounds very 80's synth band.  And nicely done, which you can't say about a lot of the music from that era.  Could go well as a soundtrack w/ some big-haired girls. Really nice work.  Esp. given the constraints.  You got a lot of Dune.

...are vocals allowed in this competition?

Thanks for listening    .. and no, there's no vocals are allowed, no sample based synths either, unless it just uses single-cycle waveforms.

Thanks, I guess I am an 80's guy, but love the 70's prog-rock too
