Sonar LE with Windows 7

I have been using Sonar LE with Windows XP for several years. I got it when I bought an UMU audio interface. I had my music computer start crashing a few months ago and backed up all my Sonar recordings in .bun format to a memory stick. I ended up having to buy another refurbished computer from Micro Center and it had Windows 7 loaded on it. I copied all my Sonar files from the memory stick to the hard drive on the new computer, and loaded Sonar LE onto the new computer from the distribution disk. I am now getting errors of two kinds. 1:) when I load any  .bun sound file into Sonar LE I get a dialog box that reads "there was a problem sending the command to the program" , but the file loads ok, plays ok and I can record, edit, and re-save the file as a .bun after working with the file. Next time I open the file I get the same message. Problem 2:) Sometimes I get a dialog box that reads "Unexpected error code, hr:2147500037, file: HRESULT: 3221225747" and the file will not load. These errors do not seem to impede my working in Sonar (except for Prob 2), and the prob's are occurring with all files that I try to load. Never had these prob's with Windows XP computer. Is there some way I can get rid of these error messages? Thanks in advance for any ideas anyone has. Larry Robertson, Parker, CO email:

I do not know. If you can perhaps you should try to right click on the file and try "compatibility mode" and see if that works for the files, but then save them in Windows 7.

Then I was thinking that I still have my old computer and music on it, but I did not *.bun the files just copied everything in the Cakewalk Project folder and moved the files put on DVD to my new computer and copied them over to the new computer. I did not have any problems with any of the files (*.wav files) or *.wov files (picture graphics files of the wave forms). (regular Sonar program though not the LE program).
