[Solved] Addictive Drums

Hi
Just bought and downloaded X3 - very impressed so far
but struggling to register addictive drums
on the XLN installer screen it wants the product key - but all I have is the serial number from ' My Account' within the Cakewalk store
Any ideas??

    EDIT....misread...are you using the LATEST online installer?  It doesn't ask for a key....
    Did you go to the XLN Site and register your serial #?

     You probably already thought that that the serial in your Cakewalk account is the same "product key" the Addictive Drums installer asks for and it didn't work? Been a long time since I registered AD, but I don't remember any hassle like that. Meebe you have to register the serial number on the XLN website or something.

    I just installed mine a couple of weeks ago.  All it asked me for was my serial #.  The product key is generated automatically during the install process and entered internally during the process.  At least that's how it seemed to work for me.

    You go to the XLN website to create an account and register your product. Then you use the online installer which uses your account to log in and it does everything for you.

    Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    Seems to be installing now
    Not sure what I was doing wrong - perhaps I wasn't cutting and pasting right
    - just one of those days I suppose!!
