[Answered] midi to wave

what is the correct way to turn a simple midi clip into a wave clip,When i freeze a clip I just made with say Battery 4 in piano roll view ,then freeze it,,it turns from a two mesure clip to a six measure clip

Possibly there are some instruments ringing out or reverb tails happening? Do you need it to be a loop necessarily? Can't you simply cut it into two bars afterwards?

you could use bounce to tracks to bounce it down. Probably you have some midi event farther out. If you look at the midi events, you might be able to find it.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

bounce to track seems good , but then I changed the clip to groove looping and it stretched to 3.5 measures

Ok I think I got it now,,,I used to do this a lot but not lately I have short term memory prob and have to constantly re remember things....It was a beats per clip issue ,,,I kinda hate bothering people with simple things like this but I ntruly apreciate your imput ,,,,very helpful
