Sonar X3 Guitar Processor?

Hi,
Is it possible for me to use Guitar Rig from Sonar 8.5 in Sonar X3? If so, what's the easiest way to get it in?
If not, I own Sonar X2, although I never installed it. Is there a guitar processor in there that would be easy to get into X3?
I don't see a guitar processor in Sonar X3, unless I'm missing it.
Thanks.

Guitar Rig should work, it is a VST plug-in. X3 includes a version of TH2. Here is the CW Blog entry about the version of TH2 included in Producer http://blog.cakewalk.com/new-in-sonar-x2-producer-scorching-tones-and-killer-effects-with-th2-producer-from-overloud/ Here is the blog entry about the TH2 version included in Basic and Studio http://blog.cakewalk.com/...2-sonar-from-overloud/

Wow, thanks. I saw that TH2 and didn't know it was a guitar plug in. Just read about it and am excited to try it. Take care.

I have Sonar 8.5 all the way to X3. I have reformat hard drive and install X3 from scratch. However, I loaded my Sonar 8.5 disk and choose a custom install of Phaethon reverb and Guitar Rig 3LE. That means the Sonar 8.5 program is not installed but Phaethon and Guitar Rig will still be available in X3. I also did a custom install of X2 program and nothing else because I still want to have my v-vocal available in X3.

BTW, Sonar users that own Guitar Rig3 or 4 are entitled to a discount price of 99USD to upgrade to Guitar Rig5 Pro. Still available after all these years.

Thanks. I'm going to want Guitar Rig in so that I can remix something I did in 8.5. Great info!

You can get the new Guitar Rig 5 Free from NI website. But the Sonar LE version had more free presets.

Hey, do you all have to enter the security code in every time you log in to this forum? I use Roboform and it's useless as I'm always stopped and have to manually type in the security code. Any work around?
