Please help with loading new VST (Peavey Revalver III.V) into Sonar X2 Pro

I'm unable to load the Revalver VST into Sonar. I've followed the instructions as best I can thus far, but when I scan the files/folder for the VST in Preferences "VST Settings" they're still not showing up under Utilities "manage VSTs."

So, the original files for this VST were saved under Programfiles on my C drive...One is saved in a Peavey/Revalver folder, and the other is in a Steinberg folder, with a subfolder labeled "VST." I've tried pulling up and scanning both but to no avail....not sure which one is the dll file...I even tried copying both over into my Cakewalk VST folder, but they're still not showing up when I go through the outlined procedures...What gives?

May also want to make sure the standalone version works.

Thanks guys…Banzar, you nailed it buddy…didn’t occur to me that I’d loaded the 64 bit version and that Sonar was loaded as the 32 bit version…My PC can easily run 64 bit, but I usually do 32 bit by default just because I can’t tell much audible difference between the two and assume it takes up less PC load. Anyway, I went back and installed the 32 bit version; went through the regs in Sonar X2, and voila!...it worked, and Revalver is now an accessible plugin.

BTW, Revalver is awesome. I like TH2 Overloud a lot…it’s a great plugin, and until I played with Revalver’s standalone version over the weekend, it was the best amp/cab emulator I’d heard. I picked up Revalver for $30 on musiciansfriend’s STUPID deal just because, and I’m glad I did. For years I’ve been a purist and never believed in the capabilities of amp sims, but I’m coming around. These programs are awesome.

Best regards,

Chris

There's no reason not to run SONAR as a 64 bit app!
