Drag and Drop audio import

Is there any reason why this does not work? Or am I just doing it wrong? Sometimes I find it kind of a hassle to use the browser or import dialog for basic find-a-file-and-use-it stuff. Afaik all other DAWs do this. Certainly I do it with Ableton all the time.

It never worked for me in any version. I just figured since everyone is on here offering suggestions and the bakers seem to be listening, I'd make a post about it.
