Musicianuniversity.com

Has anyone tried this site? I just went through the mixing guide course and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I didn't get alot out of it and I thought the writing was poor (lots of spelling and grammatical errors). The upside is that you can go at your own pace and the price is good. I was just wondering if others have tried some of the other audio courses and thought they we good. The mixing course had no assignments or exercises which i was somewhat looking forward to and the quiz got redundant quite fast. I want to give it another shot but would like to see if others have some feedback on it?

I took THIS course. The trial is pretty weak but the course is very good. Lots of good info and assignments. You can work at your own pace taking up to 2 years to complete the 12 week course, but it shouldn't take that long (just good to know you have it). The price is right too.

Thanks for the info. Looks like it is really good. I couldn't take the free tour (they must be haveing a little trouble with the site) but I'll try again a little later. Thanks again for the link

Yeah, like I said. The free tour is pretty weak. I basically shows what the course will teach. Just like reading the add.

If I was going to shell out for a mixing course again I'd probably do the Lynda.com one by Brian Lee White. It really is excellent.
