Final Cut X to Sonar file transfer?

Hi folks-
 
I'm wondering if any post production Sonar users are in the same boat we're in....  Our video suite is looking into upgrading to Final Cut Pro X.  In the past we have always transferred projects to Sonar  (for audio & music production) via OMF.  That's worked well, because it has things like VO, dialog & nat sound on separate tracks with handles.  Final Cut Pro X has evidently discontinued OMF support, so we're trying to figure out the simplest way, ideally still having handles, to transfer multi-track projects into Sonar.
 
Any suggestions?

Yes, workflow is for the video editor to edit video with On Camera audio, Voice Over & any captured nat sounds.  He sends it to me, I clean up the audio, add music, mix, master & send him back a mixed file.
 
I'm not sure if Final Cut X can export Broadcast Audio.  I asked the editor & he's looking into it.  Even if it does, that's not an ideal fix.  I really prefer being able to have "handles" on the files- the ability to slip edit out his audio edits.  Video editors are notorious for cutting things off abruptly.  I'll drag things out for a smooth fade out, or to find some room sound with out speaking to sample it for my noise reduction software.  There's evidently a newer version of OMF, AAF or something like that?... but as far as I can tell, Sonar doesn't support it.  I'm hoping someone else in my situation has already found a solution that they're willing to share!

I'm bumping an old thread I started to see if there are any new developments / work-arounds.  In searching, it doesn't appear that Sonar supports AAF yet.  Our video editor has upgraded to Final Cut 10.1.4 & is having fits trying to go thru a number of hoops to send me an omf file.  Any suggestions?  Any way to get an AAF file into Sonar or convert it to omf?

I use Pro Tools as my "middle man" to get from FCP to Sonar.
