Why is Audiosnap Crashing Sonar X3c?

Ok, so I've never found Audio snap to work great, but lately I've been trying again.

Here is the scenario; I select a short audio loop and I select Audio Transients to invoke Audio snap, I start tweaking the settings in the Audio snap pallet and within a few minutes I get a large pop through my speakers and the track I am working on shows the VU levels at 99! with full levels! and Sonar stops working, all I get are clicks and pops.  I am forced to restart Sonar, this happens every time making Audio snap useless.

What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

, what sound card do you run,
I have been a sonar user since the 7 versions and am running a old delta 1010 card with win 7 64 and have had that happen many times is it like a click or pop the the sound is just dead and you have to restart sonar,or your intire rig? just wonder cus I tested the same thing on another comp with a better studio sound card and found it ran flawless. but yet back home on my studio this pop and drop I get when I use the snap or drop a large plug in on the project when it still playing, easy workaround for plugin is just don't drop when its playing, but snap issue is something iv yet to find a fix since it is a product of a older sound card.and there for very hard to nail down without others like you sharing specs and info. so I would love to know what card you run.

Hey Blacksheep, thanks for your reply.  My sound card is a MOTU 828mk3 on a Texas Instruments Firewire card (its in my signature).
I suppose at this point I need to talk to tech support.

Anyone else besides us see this issue?

I think this is another manifestation of the 64-bit Double Precision Engine issue. Try disabling that in Preferences > Audio > Driver Settings, and re-opening any project(s) you have open.
