Guitar Rig 4 problem

for some reason the vst version has only 1 amp (jump) available. the stand alone version has all amps and other components available.

How do i get the vst version to make the grayed out amps available?

Which version of SONAR are you running? Rescanning VSTs manually may help, but I also saw another thread that NI is updating all software, so you may also want to check for updates to Guitar Rig 4. The Service Center file should be in C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

If you pop open the service center, the "Overview" page lets you also "Show Details" on the right. Do the stand alone and VST versions match?

Powering up my system quick to see if I am seeing the same thing (I have GR4 LE and GR5).

Encountered this before. Getting an update version from the service center option will solve it.

I cannot replicate with GR4 LE or GR5. I just downloaded the update to GR5 via the Service Center.

ok, unfortunately idk how but i fixed it. i reinstalled GR4 to a different drive/vst folder and checked re-scan Existing plugs and all the components are back.

i was thinking of unistalling GR3LE, but since it works now....

i'm beginning to think this problem may have been caused by installing Kontakt 5 Player which includes "Jump" but i just dont know eneough about how installing things affect the registry etc

I am glad it is working for you. When I updated GR5 and first launched it I got a freaky message saying "Rescanning presets because all have been deleted"... then is scanned and found them all, including my custom ones. I was not quite sure what that message was all about myself.

Quick question... when you rescanned VST's did you check the "Rescan Failed Plugins" and "Rescan existing Plugins"? If not, try that first.

If so, the  "Reset" option will essentially clear X3 of VST's allowing you to try the same thing and create the VST list from scratch.
