Groove clip loopin final thought
WHY can't the audio clips be treated like the midi clips as far as beats in a groove clip are concerned??
I have an audio track that is only 3 complete bars. Let's say they are trimmed exactly before groove clipping.
By the characteristics of the clip, it is only 3 bars long. WHY would SONAR try to determine that it is NOT 3 bars long and presume it to be 4 bars? I see no use to have the host tell me what it is I want to do with a clip. Midi clips do not behave that way and I expect that a similar behavior would persist for audio clip processing without having to edit the clip properties. I could see a verify panel come up to verify what it was they thought I wanted to do. If I have 3 complete bars in a clip I want to groove, groove the 3 clips only please bakers!
How is this thought process wrong? My workflow would love to be able to do this as I described it.
