Is Gobbler gobbling?

Love the Gobbler feature that is included with X3!
 
However, I wonder if y'all turn it off while recording? Is it maybe slowing my PC down while I'm working? I have a ton of data going up to Gobbler, and when I check the upload status, I see it is still uploading all my lame song ideas.
 
Since upgrading to X3, I like having the Gobbler icon button engaged when I'm on a project so it will save my most current version. But I think I'm gonna try working with it turned off until I'm done...
