Pro Channel - quick way to duplicate all to another track?

Apart from cloning the track without its events?

Yup... at the top of the PC is a name... if you hover on that (right end of it), two icons will pop-up... "Load Preset" and "Save Preset."

Some presets came with X3, and you can create all the ones you want.

Saving it as a preset is the best (only?) way to do this.

I always prefix preset names with an underscore so that when you want to load it into another track, it pops up at the very top of the list of presets.

Thanks, I'm ok with presets, I was just wondering whether there was a fast move I'd missed equivalent to the Ctrl Shift drag you can do from the FX bin.

    Try using Quick Groups.

    Hi John.

Do you want to expand on that a bit more please?

I'm familiar with Quick Groups but am struggling to see how this would help (genuine question)

Using ctrl you can insert a PC module in all the track at once. You can also adjust a parameter for all using ctrl.

    Right. I get that bit.

Can this help the OP in wanting to duplicate an entire strip in any way?

The "Save & Load" preset idea is a good one, but if there's a quicker way, I could use this a lot.

There is the option to right click in the grey space at the top of a PC Channel and choose "Set Modules as Defaults for Tracks", and indeed this does exactly what it says - any new instance of the PC being opened will use the modules, but with all settings zeroed/flatlined.
