Animation Soundtrack

This was something new for me - an animation soundtrack I did for my nephew - It is complete now, as it had to be finished on a tight schedule.  Still, I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

All the music is original, composed especially for this project.  I did the sound effects as well.

Thanks!

Well, that was quite interesting Andrew and a very nicely done video animation and soundtrack. Your nephew does some awesome work with animation and your music, also awesome, fit right in very nicely. Excellent work from the both of you. Enjoyed!!

man, your nephew even re-created the famous Monaco racetrack "en detail" with the tiny curves and the long tunnel! very nice, and I liked the whole 20s/30s look. Also, your music fits into the roaring twenties concept here.

but I must admit that I didn't get the story...I probably missed the punchline!

Thanks Tom - yeah, he did a lot of research & went to a lot of effort to re-create the Monaco track.  Here are some details about the characters & animation: http://www.jameshazael.com/#/le-tour-racing-animation/

The storyline - well look closely at the 2 characters & the cars they are drive, and what happens during the coffee/pit stop.

Very well done!  The music carried me along on a jazzy, curving highway.  Good production all around.

Thanks for listening Lynn! - Jazz isn't my "home" genre, but I felt it definitely was required for the visuals.

Touching story in the video, and fantastic accompanying music!  Super creative stuff.  I love it!  Even though it's not your "home" genre, you really nailed the music.

That was just excellent. Love the animation style and the limited colour palette, really effective. Music fitted beautifully too. Hats off to all concerned, that's a perfectly executed project.
