Lee, I've heard much of your material over the last couple of years, and this song stays true to form. Overall, it's grungy and Neil Youngish, as you said. Now, I'm waiting for the second act to begin (yours, I mean). I feel there's more to you than this.

Hey Lynn, You're right :) next project, of which I have many a idea for will be quite different, but my current project I need to see thru. I have 14 songs now, and I'm essentially done mixing now, some mastering to go and then I will be putting the packaging together and I'll be ready to roll. I do think it will be a worthwhile record, that many ears will enjoy. I will gladly send one out to you soon as it's ready. Thank you as always my friend for listening! Lee

I thought it was pretty cool. Kinda' college radio-ish.

Bass could be stronger. Drums seem too crsip for this type of song. JMO.

Your vocal stylings are awesome, I love your voice. :) I think the drums are a bit too hot/present, as Bapu said above. Love the laid back but noisy/dissonant groove. I'm a huge fan of Sonic Youth, and this evokes them for sure.

Have to agree on the drums being to brite for this kind of song and for fitting in well with you style of vocals. A lot of resonant background sounds and grungy on the instrumentation, but I suppose that is what you were shooting for. I think the overall song is alright, but have heard you do better on other songs. It just isn't my style of song and so you have to go with what works for you and what your trying to capture. Every song/piece has a story to tell. Peace and Blessings, John

Hey John, thanks for listening and the comment, always appreciated my brother! I may tone down the drums, but maybe not :) as I kinda dig loud drums, being a former drummer. (that's me playing drums on this track as well, I play everything but bass on this) Lee

To my furry ears it does sound very much like it is playing on an old radio which might be what you were aiming for. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice indeed! Indeed a strong Sonic Youth influence, but I can also hear a touch of Sebadoh. Nice to hear something like this on this forum; bit of "lo-fi" created on a modern DAW :-)

Sonic Youth, right on...have gotten that comparison now a couple times. Sebadoh was cool also, but I'm more of a J. Mascis fan :) Thanks for listening!
