Incredible animations made from single still shots
These are amazing...single still shots given movement with the help of Photoshop and After Effects. The music is pretty awful to my ears but the quality of the animation is stunning. http://vimeo.com/50672419#

Hi, That's pretty. If you have ever done any film, and specially editing, you are familiar with this. On Super 8, I think I had 24 frames per second. If you slow down the films, you can see this, but you also see the break in each picture. Film, specially in the early days, was just picture after picture after picture. This is not as clear or as visible today. The part that is helping, and was started around the late 60's was when some of the film stuff started getting on to special effects and such, most of which were the beginnings of what became known as "digital" ... you know ... the stuff that we hate so much!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Film is still picture after picture and, interestingly enough, as far as your eyes are concerned, real life is just picture after picture. Except, your eyes dither at about 90 times per second (which is why watching certain moving objects can look like a still frame at just the right frequencies). Humans require a minimum of 24fps to interpret something as moving, but pigeons need at least 75fps since their eyes have temporal dithering at a much higher rate.

So how come it's so hard to sneak up on 'em ?
