Installation issue for Sonar X1 LE

OK,
I am trying to correctly installing the SONAR X1 LE I got in a bundle with the OCTACAPTURE unit.

I just got a "used" WinXP Laptop that was connected to a domain with some restrictions and system policies on installing software.

I switched the domain to one without such restrictions but the restrictions will still stay active even the system is now on new domain and I am the administrator. (I am not a IT pro but have some little bit of knowledge about)

I was able to change some of the group policies to allow software installation, changing security settings etc... but when I am trying to install the SONAR X1 LE the installation the system gives a message "That the system Administrators or policies preventing of installing this software" or something similar.
Now During the installation I have to press a OK button (to confirm) and then the installer software runs and installs the components (or it seems to do so) as if nothing happened.

Now the software itself runs when I start it but as soon I connect the Audio interface (OCTA CAPTURE WITH NEWEST DRIVERS ) the software crashes.
With some not allowed memory access … (The audio device  software without the SONAR runs on its own and plays clips and getting signals in and out)

Well I am pretty sure that this has something to do that some of the elements were not installed correctly (dll’s missing or something).

Unfortunately I cannot exactly tell what software is missing but the display shows during the message  that a vcredist.exe is running (this software needs a C++redistributable 2005 version)
Again the "funny part" is that after I confirm the message that tells "this is not allowed" the software continues with no other messages.

Normally I would expect that when such message shows up the installation would be interrupted … but here… nope..

What Group or other policies would prevent this installation on some components after I already allowed the installation in the Group policies.
Any hints?
I have to make it work sort of over the weekend and know I am like an 1/10 of an inch there.. but missing the last hint.

I am sure someone in here came across similar issues.
Can anyone help me or pinpoint to certain policies that I could unlock.

Greetings
J
