I Need to change Audio to fix tempo

Hello Music Fans,

I had to change the tempo of a project.  Now I need to know how to match the original audio to fit the new tempo.

Any help is appreciated and thanked.

Matt

Thanks
Matthew

Short answer: Enable Autostretch mode of Clip Follows Project in Audiosnap on audio track(s) before changing the tempo.

    Brundlefly,

    Thanks for the response.

I must be missing a step or something because I followed your steps and still could not get the vocal to match the project.  Not your fault, just I am a newbie sorta.

    I will keep pursuing this.

    Thanks
    Matthew

    Thanks

Have a look at this video and see if that helps. That goes through the process of changing a project's tempo.

    Karl,

    Thanks for the help Karl,

Ya I saw that video before. The Video does not work for me.  The video was mostly audio instruments used for the entire clip for changing the project tempo.

I only want to change tempo for 7 vocal clips that are not being used 100 percent of the time of the project.
    Maybe that will help.

    Thanks

    Matthew

    Thanks
    Matthew

change the tempo back to the original first, then enable auto stretch and 'clip follow project' on each audio track that needs stretched, Then change the tempo to desired tempo. i personally like to set the desired algorithm for each audio track based on the material.. polyphonic/ mono phonic/percussion) (for xtra precaution, before stretching the audio clips, bounce them in place and make sure they all start at zero).
