Upgrading computer

I will soon be changing my computer (Windows Xp / Sonar X1 Producer). I'm just unsure on how to migrate Sonar to my new computer (probably Windows 7).

1- The only CD's I have are Sonar 8 Producer. I also have upgrade files to X1 and later upgrades. How do I reintall the whole thing?
2- Do I have to reinstall Sonar 8 and then re-apply the updates?
3- Will Cakewalk give me a hard time about reinstalling on a new computer?

Thanks,

You don't need to install SONAR 8. You can just install X1, if you'd like. Or you can install both. There won't be any problems with that since they are separate installs and are put in their own dedicated folders.

Hey get windows 8 or 8.1. Upgrades to 8.1 are free from windows 8. Check your hardware for compatibility.
I don't see any reason to stick with win 7 nowadays unless you already have win 7.
    Oh and get X3 :)
