Yes. MC6 comes with a loops library in both midi and audio.... and you can use most commercial libraries and synths with it easily.
I used to have a loops example on my music site but I took it down. But you can easily use MC or any of the Cakewalk products for what you want. Go to the Songs forum and listen to the wide variety of music people are creating and recording with Cakewalk.
