List of keyboard shortcuts for X3 Producer

Is there such a thing? I looked in the documentation but can't find anything. I'd like to print a copy so I have it handy while I'm getting used to the program.

Thanks scook. The link gives me a 'Oops - we couldn't find...............' message but I'll check the help menu when I get home later. I thought I'd looked there though.......................but I could easliy be wrong there..........

I looked at that but I use Reason 7 too so not for me.

I always reorganise the layout of the pages, print them in duplex and landscape and laminate them. Create a flip chart. Quickest way to learn shortcuts. Also the single greatest productivity gain.

Yup, that the plan. I've been running through the Groove 3 X3 Explained tutorials and have made a few notes but quickly realised those notes ain't really gonna help as much as a proper list.

You can create a finer grain adjustment to now time with CAL and bind the CAL scripts to the keyboard. Here is an example of moving now time backward

(do
    (int offset 30)
    (if (< Now offset)
        (= Now 0)
           (-= Now offset)
    )
)
And the now time forward example
 (do
    (+= Now 30)
)

While you're at it, disable all the shortcuts you won't be using for now.  You can always reenable them later.  In the meantime, you won't spend hours wondering what happened after you accidentally hit the "o" key.

Hey scook - thanks for the idea, I'll definitely give that a shot.  A few quick questions:
 
1.  You have a whole block with offset 30, etc in the move back but just the DO section on the move forward.  Would this assume that you actually had to full sections like the first or could it be coded either way?
2.  What is the 30 representative of?  If I wanted move by quarter notes, for example, would 30 be definitive or is that in milliseconds or something "non-beat" related?

So is there a way to specify beats or would it have to be calculated from the ticks based on tempo or resolution or something? (thanks for the info, btw)

Ok - great.  So after thinking about "ticks" I realized that it's the same as the PPQ setting.  So since there are 960 Pulses Per Quarter note, I just modified the above with 960 instead of 30 and it does exactly a quarter note.  So this works for what I needed.
