Storm Of Caprio

Here is one more I played and put together called " Storm Of Caprio" I added some  clash for tension. Piano is nothing new but playing something I wrote in classical is. I'm not really into classical music as a habit but I did "feel" this when I played it. New for me.

I absolutely love the melody and the basic form.

It seems like you occasionally hit a few notes that shouldn't be included in the harmonic structure... almost as if they were added *rhythmically* but don't belong chromatically. I don't know that there is a right note to substitute at those places and suspect that no note (sustaining the previous note) would work fine.

I keep hearing snippets of vocal lines in my head that could lay on top of this.

It seems like it could stand on it's own as an instrumental with the addition of one more movement that maybe gave the overall form a more defined sense of direction.

    Thanks for sharing.

    best regards,
    mike

Thanks Mike. I deliberately added some tension to it but I agree there are a few places that need to be redone. I appreciate the listen and your comments. The next version of this probably won't exactly follow the original since this is an unnotated improv ;). Thanks again!

Sounds good except for a few notes that could be fixed in a piano roll format. Has a quite storm dark side to it. Very nicely done.

I liked that. Loads of tension, relieved at 2:10... then it all builds up again. Quite a stressful piece of music actually, I imagine it was cathartic to play and record.

Reminds me of the opening to a prog rock piece. I kept waiting for the distant vocal to come in and way off guitar lines until the rocking started. Very nice piece!
