Can you see this from space?
Been trimming some rather large hedges today. Got 3 of these to do. My arms may drop off during the night. It's all work though eh?

GEEEEEEEEZ Man..... Is that ficus? I've been trimming 170 feet of 6-9 foot ficus about every month for 25 years. I thought I had it bad. That hedge is beyond doable. There are no cuttings on the ground?????????????

It's Leylandii. The pic's pretty bad, but you can just make out my 2 old blankets on the ground, one blue, one pink, with cuttings on. I drag those round and empty into the property owner's tractor bucket and he dumps the cuttings up in a field. Just by the blankets is a Stihl polecutter, I can *just* get the top with it..

I imagine you ca see that from the moon. HEY... "be careful with your fingers and don't hurt your back, your back will not forgive you, it will nag you for the rest of your life if you hurt it. Your arms will just fall off and you can put them back on tomorrow. Be careful, that looks like quite the job. I bet there is quite a lot of satisfaction when you are finished and walk around to look at it. Tell me... do you have to make yourself stop? I mean to you keep seeing another leaf that needs to be cut when you are finished? J

I am a bit fussy, yeah...the customer actually said he'd never seen that hedge cut as neatly (this is the first year I've done it for him). Lovely place to work, I'm doing 3 days a week there at the moment. Glad to have the work at this time of year, that's for sure. Those hedges are at the back of the house, around a disused tennis court.

"Pastoral?" Are you kidding me? This is Scotland and I certainly don't see any sheep. That's what they would consider a barren wasteland!

There was a flock of sheep. I carved them into a giant hedge, and sprayed it green.
