Hardware not playing nice

I've been using a cakewalk FA66 firewire interface but I needed more inputs that I could record simultaneously, the FA66 will allow me to use 4 as I utilize the 3&4 as stereo.. Alas along comes a Behringer QX1202USB. Set it up and it works great, but now sonar X3 doesn't give me the choice to choose from the array of inputs on the FA66. I need the separation of inputs of the FA66 as in I can record four different inputs to four different tracks at the same time. I would like to add the QX1202 to the mix, but if I  utilize the USB connectivity of the QX1202 I lose the FA66. The Cakewalk inputs still show up under the 'preferences' in Sonar but they are dithered "grayed" out and are not selectable. Can this be remedied or am I stuck?? .....I hope I put this in the right place.

The ASIO specification only permits one I/O driver to be used at a time. That is why only one interface is available when running SONAR in ASIO mode.

Hmmm... No workaround? I wonder if it would be possible to route the qx1202 mixer into the fa66 ( tape/RCA outs from mixer to the 3-4 FA66 inputs, also stereo RCA) for a combined mix into a seperate track, which was all I was gonna get anyway...and just disconnect the USB ?

Not familiar with the hardware but if you are just looking for a way to mix down a few channels into the FA66 might be worth a shot. I doubt it would matter whether both were connected to the computer or not only one would be seen by SONAR.

Thanks scook! Just wondering because with the QX1202 mixer's USB connected to the mobo and the FA66 connected via firewire, sonar only allows use of the mixer via USB/AISO. It doesn't give an option of using one or the other. I've run a lot if various devices through the FA66 and it seemed just fine. I was just wanting the two worlds USB and FIrewire to coexist I guess. The mixer, if I'm looking at it correctly, will only send the main sum to a single track in sonar, if this is correct I'm spinning my wheels trying to get more independent tracks. Would another item like the FA66 help and if so are there suggestions as to what might work? I trying to achieve at least four balanced inputs in separate independent tracks. I thought the mixer would be my ticket...
