Blue screen issues with Sonar X1 LE

I use my Lenovo G780 laptop for music tracks to perform with.  Winows 7 Home prof...   I loaded cakewalk Sonar X1 LE and a Roland Duo Capture (audio interface) to it.   They both work but my laptop has crashed 3 times now; blue screen and then reboot.  I have 8G of memory, do I need more?  Is there a system adjustment to allocate more to this software?  I don't use it on line, so I haven't done any updates for my first year... maybe that's part of it:~ )  *I have Sonar X1 essentials on my desktop and it never did this:~(  Suggestions are welcome.

Probably not a lack of memory. May want to look in the Windows Event Viewer for a clue to the cause of the crash. Blue screens are usually driver or hardware issues.
