Merry Christmas From Kandahar

This is the second of 2 songs I wrote for that song challenge a few weeks ago.

Pat and I wrote this at the same time we were writing Christmas Without You. The first one was her idea and this tune was my idea.

I also took the time and put together a video. Many of the photos came from my nephew who is currently active duty USMC and spent time in Afghanistan at Christmas. He's currently home and with his wife this Christmas. The second verse has photo's from my childhood, me, my little brother and of course mom and dad.

Hope you enjoy this song tribute to those who are serving in the Military and are not able to be home with loved ones and family and friends at this time of the year. Wishing Peace on Earth for all....

Thanks and please take the time to hit both versions..... and share the video with friends....

It is so nice to show our love for our troops who fight and die for the freedoms we have here in our country, and you certainly conveyed that here in both song and video memories. What a wonderful joy this will bring to those who listen or watch the musical or video versions. God Bless our troops and God Bless America!  Very nicely done Herb and Pat!!

    Peace and Blessings, John
