Quantize 1/12 and 1/24 Sonar X1

Dears,
 
Can anybody tell me does Sonar x1 provide Quantize 1/12 and 1/24 for drums tracks?

    I do not understand.  Whole notes, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64 - what in the world would a 1/12th note or 1/24th note be?

    Dear Bob,
    In new keyboard workstation style composer, this kind of quantize is provided for Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Oreintal styles,

    Wow - I remember I subbed for a keyboard player for a Persian music gig, and it was a crazy night of odd meters and really strange goings on.  The singer wore a white Elvis jump suit, and played some bizarre Persian guitarish thing, which looked really odd.  (the singer looked odd on his own, and the instrument was way out of place for an Elvis jump suit).
     
    Thanks for enlightening me - I do not have any awareness of how one would quantize to those values in Sonar.

    You can quantize to additional values by entering ticks instead, but you'll have to calculate the number of ticks you need. Check out the Quantize Duration video on my site...

    1/12 and 1/24 are settings used by other daws which correspond to eighth and sixteenth note triplets in sonar.

    What i mean is 1/12 = 1/8 triplet and 1/24 = 1/16 triplet. They are just displayed differently from daw to daw and vsts will use either of the two different styles for labeling, but they are the same.

    I was going to suggest the triplet values but thought I just didn't understand something there! :)
