Save to a cloud type folder

I am using Sonar LE on my desktop at home and on my laptop... I can do some tweaking and mixing from location... what I want to do is save to a folder in Dropbox... can anyone tell exactly what I need to transfer into Dropbox so the files work fully, or is it even possible. I did try it and was able to pull up the project and Data info, but it could not access the Audio files. Even though they seemed to be there.

    Use per-project audio folders. It is a setting in Preferences > File > Audio Data. This will put all the data for the project in one folder with the audio in a subdirectory in the same folder.

    If I am starting a new project I can certainly change those settings... in my version there is no "preferences" option, but there is an Option menu with Global options. In there there is a Folder list where you can choose where things are saved. I need to know what folders in the Cakewalk hierarchy I need to drag into Dropbox... I may simply not know how to efficiently ask this question... if I move the Cakewalk Projects folder to Dropbox, it contains the Audio Data folder, which I did, but when I tried to pull up a project it was missing Audio files.

    In that list is everything but the audio folder path, Open the Audio Data tab and you'll see the file path for audio. 
     
    Also I make sure and tick the COPY AUDIO WITH PROJECT box. when saving my files for the first time or as a SAVE AS. 
     
    The audio folder should always be inside the project folder. 
     
    I save each song in a folder. Those songs will also be in a Album folder or a "Original Song Ideas" folder. 
     
    I'm not sure how Dropbox will be for audio as I'm limited to 10 Gigs and I have at least 300 Gigs of Sonar files right now. They would be fine for CWP files with mostly MIDI tracks, but audio sucks up bandwith as Sonar is working with 32 BIt etc.

    Okay, I'll play around with it and leave an update here if I get it working in case others want to do this, I would imagine others would.

    Would Save As - Cakewalk Bundle work?

    Not if you are trying to avoid bundles entirely. Better to save to a unique project folder using per-project audio folders and "Copy all audio with project" enabled.

    Yeah, when I start a new project I'll try these suggestions, picking a new save destination. I have numerous projects that already exist that I would like to be able to access remotely through a shared folder in Dropbox, I just don't know what all has to be moved from the Cakewalk folders on my hard drive to the Dropbox folder to give me full access to the mix from a second computer.

    After performing the "Save As" function with the "Copy all audio with project" enabled, the folder created will contain everything necessary for the project. That folder can be zipped into a single file or copied as is anywhere you wish and when copied down to another machine (and unzipped if necessary) should work fine.
