How to reassign keys for drums?

I am trying to record a drum track using my midi keyboard and CakewalkSoundCenter. The only problem is that my physical keyboard only has 61 keys and I cannot use one of the drums because it is too far to the left. Is there any way for me to reassign what keys are used to play the drums?

Welcome to the forum.
I think in all keyboards you have a  switch (or method) which allows you to move octaves up and down. At least I've never seen/used one without such a possibility. AFAIK it is possible to re-map the key, but I'v never done it.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

To re-map notes in the DAW look at drum maps and the Drum Map Manager.
