Today I decided to get the VKFX distortion effect for the Pro Channel.... I was surprised that I could still get it for the Cyber Monday $9.99 price.

Yep, I love having these modules right at my fingertips in the Pro Channel. They sound great and have lot's of settings to chose from...Having the delay, chorus and distortion effects in the Pro Channel just hits the spot nicely.

I bought the whole shebang as well ...$6/module!!

Anybody understand why there are two serial numbers?? Only the ProChannel serial number did anything for me...the VST serial number failed to authorize.

Apparently Sonar only ever addresses the PC install. If you have another DAW and want to use them in there, you'll get another dialog and need the VST serial.

I didn't buy all the effects because I already have Guitar Rig 5 and that would be a little too much for me...but I did want some more to go along with the PC delay unit.....I'm happy !!

The Addictive Keys Rhodes really lights up with these modules as well...one more curious question:

    - In the ProChannel, the mouse wheel does not work on any of the rotary or slider controls, but this works fine if I insert the VST version into the Console view, I get a nice pop up window with more controls that work with the mouse wheel...in general, I have found the ProChannel to be a hassle (and takes up a lot of real estate).

I have both. Lounge Liz wins. More expressive and faster response time plus less CPU intensive. And LZ can do both Rhodes and Wurlitzer.

I used the Nomad BT analog chorus plug from X3 and I love it.  I've been looking for a customizable chorus with many tweaking features and this is it!  Really like many of the Nomad plugs, and I've used MANY thru-out the years.  I've been trying to thin out the old stuff and stick with newer plugs... I'm no expert but they seem 'cleaner'.

I like having the option to pick and choose what modules you want to customize your Pro Channel the way you want it. I'm very happy with the ones I have...I already had the Concrete Limiter, PC4K Expander/Gate and PC4K-S Compressor, TSAR-1R Reverb,  so I'm all set...

I don't even know why I installed the PC versions of the VKFX. "Because I could" is the only reason I can come up with. Now my PC selection menu is ****edly full, with all the nice icons. Good thing I don't also have the Softube ones.
