2 (Really Simple) Sonar Midi Questions

1. Velocity Piano Roll View (I call it that) with the tall and short lines representing note velocities...... can I make Sonar do the velocity display with horizontal lines at 32 64 96 across the display, to provide a quick visual reference for where note velocities are sitting?  (Like that "other" program does).

2. Where can I find a recommended msconfig set up for any DAW?

Cheers,

JG

1-I'll have to assume your using SOnar 8.5 or older. As far as I know you cannot move the velocity indicators to the side. When you point the mouse ( hover ) it will open a box that shows the information including Velocity.

2- Processes in MSCONFIG are not always the cause of DAW issues. But my routine for my DAW only computer is to check the box that says" hide all MS processes " and zap everything that is left over.
If your computer is also used for office and internet then you'll want to keep certain apps like your AV.
You didn't say which OS your using which makes a difference too. Youshould state your system specs when asking those questions.

    Thks!!

Win 7, service pack 1: I do the stuff you mention.

As I thought on velocity: no grid lines can be added to piano track velocity.
