Voxengo Span Plus Is Out - Any Opinions?

As the title says.

$49.95 on Voxengo's site - $39.99 @ JJR Shop for now.

There has been a free one version out for a long time now, but I'm wondering if someone might think it worthwhile to buy this one with additional features - and just how & where they might be utilized.

I have it but I don't use it enough to say that it is worth $40 over the free version. I'm not saying it isn't worth the additional cost but I just have not used it enough to say that it is...

I thought they had a demo available o you can try it in your own environment.  Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I'm a longtime fan of SPAN. It's the only plugin that's in my default project template. I've not been able to bring myself to pony up fifty bucks for the advanced version, but that's only because I'm cheap.

The main benefit - and it's a big one - is the ability to route multiple tracks to one instance of SPAN, allowing you to overlay several tracks to see how they fit together spectrally. If you already have GlissEQ you already have that capability. SPAN has always been the display portion of GlissEQ without the equalizer.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Thanks Bit,

Now I remember why I purchased it because of the ability to route multiple tracks to the same instance. I really need to dig it out and play with it again...

Should be able to put it before and after a series of effects and see the result on a single display.

Thanks, but I do have the free one.

Unless maybe you meant the trial version - that would make more sense.

I have MMultiAnalyzer for this. It's great, but I definitely use it a lot less than I thought I would.

Sure you don't mean CurveEQ?  That's the one that Steinberg included in Cubase 7 for multiple track analysis.  Or, maybe the capability is in both CurveEQ and GlissEQ?
