I am sure there might be some similarities. But this is probably better than the one included in the X3 bundle. After all it is $129 all by itself. It is a fantastic EQ and really the one to get.

I only have Ik Multimedia's vintage Eqp-1a to compare it to, but they seem about the same to me. The Blue tube bundle is a nice edition to X3 in my opinion. I know a lot of people were complaining about getting them bundled with Sonar, but for those of us with less than 250 vsts (I have 224 at last scan)...they are pretty nice to have.
