I want to upgrade, but...

Everywhere I look, and each link I follow, tells me to upgrade to Sonar X3 today. What I can't find is anything telling me I can do so from Music Creator 6 Touch.

Can I? I know they look VERY similar, and that MC6T uses the same engine-thingy-whatever that Sonar X2 does. But can I actually upgrade?

An answer would be lovely, especially a positive one (that's a "yes!" lol). I've got a Christmas present ready to download, and just want to be sure I can use it!

Thanks,
Griz

All of the upgrades are full installs. The upgrade term is strictly a pricing thing

Thank you for the info. However, it looks to me like the Studio and Producer versions are only upgradable (at that price, as you note) if the person owns a Sonar product already? MC6T is not one of those, is it?

I see now that I can "upgrade" to the regular X3 though.

Yes, if you own MC6, you can (and should have) registered it and are a "registered customer," so you want to look at the "SONAR X3 Upgrades"

    Ok, yeah, that's what I thought. I meant I couldn't get the low-end price upgrade from MC6T, that's all.

    Thanks for the help!

This is exactly right. You qualify for registered customer pricing.
