Cannot hear effects on vocals

Recording a lead vocal.  Have some effects loaded in the vocal track (EQ, FX2 Tape, Comp) and it sounds good when in record mode.  But when I play it back none of the FX can be heard.  I've played with all of the settings, nothing works.  Have a feeling its a setting or monitor type thing?

Couldn't find an answer in current posts... hopefully someone can advise...

I would like to help you, but you need to provide more information.  Which version of Sonar and Windows are you using?  What type of converter?  What are your computer specs?  Are you inserting f/x in the f/x bin of the track or in the PC f/x bin?  What are your wet/dry ratios?  If you're hearing f/x in record mode, then you're probably hearing them through your input echo which is latency between your audio converter and your input, as f/x are post recording.  If possible, post a picture of your settings, at least, provide more info.  Best of luck.

    All the best,

Check to see that the effects are turned on.  The 'E' key turns them on and off globally.  There is a chance that you have disabled them with the 'E' key.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

Lynn, I am running Sonar X2 on a windows 7 PC.  By converter I assume you mean sound card/processor, in which case I am using a M-Audio Fastrack Pro.  I do't think it has anythng to do with my computer specs as X2 has been running fine for a whiule on this PC.  I have also made no chages to the PC settings.  FX have been fine until until just recently.  I think I changed a setting by accident in X2 but just don't know what and how to re-set it.  Pics of my settings below:

P.S.  Effects on all my other tracks play back fine.  I think its related to how the vocal track is being monitored?

Two things come to mind. First, are you sure the audio monitoring button is turned on that track? Secondly, in your console view is the FX bin button turned on? It should be lit and reads Post! Right above the EQ graph.
