SONAR 8.5LE 64 upgrade

Hi All,
I guess all you guys by now have moved on to better & bigger things! I'm sure t this question has been asked upteen times in this & numerous other forums, but just don't seem to find it! Please bear with me as I am a complete noob when it comes pc related tasks, as I am a late starter to pc, but somehow have just managed so far!

I had Sonar 8.5 LE-32 installed on my Win 7 Pro/32 laptop. Since my laptop called it a day, I needed to reinstall Sonar LE again, but the 64 bit version this time to a Win 7 Pro/64 bit laptop.

Following per instructions on the Sonar LE installation disc menu, when I click on "Windows",then another file map opens. It shows the following 2 files among others.
Sonar LE
x64
When I clicked on onar LE,the Set-up appeared, which when I continued just installed everything albeit the x64 bit section! But then when i tried to go the x64 bit file, the message "File already installed" comes up,yet i cannot see this to be the case anywhere in the files!

Can someone please direct me/guide me to the proper installation sequence/proseedure, as it appears that everytime I chose Sonar LE file path, it installs only the 32 bit version & not the 64 bit!

Please help & many thanks!

On 64-bit Windows computers, there are 2 files for program files; The 32-bit version would have installed in Program Files and the 64-bit version in Program Files (x86). Open Windows Explorer and look in the x86 file.

Thank you 57Gregy, for your kind response. I apologize for my slow acknowledgement to your reply. Yes, I managed to install the correct drivers & now it's in order. However, I have installed  v.1.17 & I am not sure if there were any updates after this or not. I was about to check this when I saw your reply! (Is there any way I can be notified by (e-mail),when replies or messages are sent in this forum without logging in?)

Yes if you "subscribe" to a thread, you set this up in your user control panel.
