Sonar X3 dropping notes in MIDI track

Hey guys, new to the forum and new to recording. I'm pretty much a noob to this so I apologize if I'm asking a dumb question but I've spent a while going through the tutorial stuff and trying to find the answer to this and I'm stumped.
Essentially I've created a midi track using the Cakewalk Sound Center synth and the piano roll to input the notes and on playback it's dropping random notes. I have a number of 8th notes in succession for a few bars and the first two bars it plays fine then the next two it starts dropping notes, then repeats this this sequence. Any help would be great!

try increasing the "Prepare using nnn millisecond buffers" from 250 to 500 or 750 in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording

I gave that a shot and it didn't seem to fix the problem. After that I tried erasing the missing notes and redrawing them in the exact same spots aaaand it works. So yeah...no idea what the issues was haha. Thanks for the help though!

It could have been anything - low velocities, different Midi channels etc.

Good that it's working for you though!
