Why is the forum always SO slow in the UK in the mornings?
Do the bakers power it down to a laptop before going to bed? This has always been a problem for me, whether I use IE11 or Chrome. It picks up to normal after lunch. All other stuff I access on the net is up to speed a.m. or p.m.
My stuff Intel Sandy Bridge i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz, 4 cores, 8 threads, 16GB RAM.OS & Programs drive: 240GB SSD Data drives: 1 x 1TB drive RAID mirrored, plus extra 1TB data drive Windows 10 Home 64 bit Cakewalk by BandLab 64 bit, Studio One 3, Band In A Box 2016, Ozone 8+ too many other pluginsBandLab page

I've noticed that too John, and it was particularly bad this morning.

It takes a long time to travel through that wire under the water.... I think they have been working on the forum software.... I see it has a new look this morning. But to the speed issue.... yeah, it's been really slow here on the east coast over the past few weeks. Several mornings, it was so slow I closed the window and did something else.

Always the same. Slows down around 2am Eastern time. Always has done, with the old forum software too. When they introduced the new software Cake blamed the slowness on all the new content being accessed by spiders while it was indexed, but that was months ago and the slowness persists. They just updated the software and it's still slow. So it has to be their server.

Well, all I can say is that it's pretty slow NOW (11am PST) and I've had a server error while trying to get a PM. *Sigh...*
