Problem using M-Audio controller in Windows 8

I am a SONAR 8.5 Producer user, and I just purchased a new computer with Windows 8. I am now experiencing difficulty using my controller, M-Audio Keystation 88.  I cannot use the original M-Audio driver download disc. When troubleshooting, I did notice that SONAR 8.5 recognized my controller. I will be upgrading to X3 Producer.

Can someone help me with this issue?

Thank you…

I just went onto M-Audio's site and the driver portion (http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=driver&PID=3dc2c380278e9e580c4710eebd2036f9&serie_ID=3#tabs) doesn't show an updated driver for Win8/8.1

You may want to contact M-Audio directly and ask. I have seen posts when Win8.1 hit the streets of people having driver issues. Unfortunately, without drivers available, you will continue to have issues. The only people who can truly answer this for you is M-Audio themselves.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.
