Harmony Engine Evo 64Bit

Hi Guys
I recently upgrade my 32bit harmony engine to 64 bit and installed a fresh windows 8.1 and my sonar x1 producer with latest updates. Any time I add the this plugin to my tracks sonar drops out and cpu indicator in sonar goes to max and technically it doesn't let me to run the project till I remove the harmony engine plugin. I tried it even by making a new project with just one audio track and import a part a vocal. as soon as it reaches to wave to play i get drop out. I contact to antares and they say it is compatible with win 8.1 and sonar x1. He suggested me to increase the buffer size to 1024 which i did and same issue. I can easily run a project which has almost 70 -80 tracks plus lots of waves plugins and no problem.
My PC SPEC IS: ASUS SABERTOOTH Z87, I7-4770K @ 3.50GHz, 12 GB RAM and 240GB SSD,WIN 8.1 PRO
I would appreciate if some one can help me to fix it. It really made me frustrated because i have some projects that i used to could run the plugin in 32bit and windows 7 but now non of the wouldn't work.
Thanks

Do a reset followed by a rescan of your plugins.
I would try the Sonar X3 demo when it comes out (soon) to see if it makes a difference.
    Hope you get it sorted...

    Cheers..

Rez, I'd retitle it to add ...."makes X1 crash..."

Apparently whatever 64bit bug was causing crashes has been fixed in X3d... see recent link here:
    http://forum.cakewalk.com/Fixed-in-X3d-Antares-AVOX-4-64bit-Plugins-cause-Sonar-X3-to-crash-m2920545.aspx

AVOX4 includes harmony evo.  I just upgraded for the $99 based on the above but DAW in shop at the moment.
I used the 32bit for a long time with nary a hiccup... but was happy they finally moved everything to 64bit... albeit the issues which seem to be fixed.

I agree with Alex, try the X3d demo.  I imagine you're stuck with 32bit till you move to X3

    Hello,

It doesn't look like this thread has been touched in a while. Wondering if there is any movement on this issue. According to Antares it is a known problem and they are working with Cakewalk on a fix. Any new information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't know what the issue was but I use AVOX 4 with Sonar platinum and don't have any problems with any of the plugins let alone Harmony Engine.

IIRC it's the VST3's that are boinked up.

They may have been and I remember some problems when Antares first went to VST3 but I only run the VST3 versions and they all work fine.

I have not been able to get the VST3 version to work. I replaced my Focusrite 2i2 with a Roland Quad Capture and night and day on just about everything in Platinum. But if HE is in an FX bin I get drop outs on play back. I've increased I/O buffers and no difference. Kind of a bummer cause I think its a cool effect.
