Hi. Just right click on the clip, and choose desired insert audio effect. Or you can do it in the track view fx bin if you want it on the whole track. Same procedure. Right click, and choose desired effect

Clips have fx bins just like tracks do, and they're used the same way. The only difference is that the clip fx bin is normally hidden until you show it via a context menu (right-click on the clip, as Zargg71 suggests). Once you're happy with the effect you can make it permanent by simply bouncing the clip to itself.

Only thing I can add is if you are going to use a delay or reverb is to add some extra length to the clip prior to bouncing it(just drag out an extra measure or whatever fits). So you do not cut if off.Just food for thought save you a headache or two.Cheers.

    It's important to note that
    1. Yes, the clip effect will only be heard for the length of the clip, so reverbs and delays may need some extra clip length for their tails, but
    2. The clip effect (unless VST3) is actually using CPU power the whole time, not just when you're playing the clip. So in that sense it's the same as a track effect.

Just pointing it out in case you were hoping to conserve CPU power.

You can also save cpu, by freezing tracks you are satisfied with.
