More Christmas/NY Freebies on X3 upgrade?

Hiya,
 
I've just got my new pc up and running, having moved from my XP machine. I'm about to upgrade from X1 Essential to X3 Studio, and I think its already a very good upgrade path. But I just wondered if Cakewalk had a history of throwing in even better inducements at this time of year. The old, "Darn, if I'd waited 2 days...." scenario.   :)
 
I see there's already something to do with Session Drummer templates (?!) but wondered what you thought....
 
Shall I just bite the bullet/pull the trigger/commit to the transaction?

    If your specs in your signature are correct, then you certainly shouldn't buy it becuase it won't install on XP.
     
    Re price / offers, if you continue to apply that logic, then you might as well wait until X4 is out and X3 is in the bargain basement and so on.......... I know what you mean about buying at the wrong time, we've probably all done it with something or other, but as with everything you just have to consider ........am I happy to pay x amount right now in return for that ? If the answer is yes, buy it. (assuming you have a system it will run on of course)
     
    BTW,  3 weeks in and I'm still waiting to see the SD templates in my account, so I wouldn't put too much emphasis on that. Also if you're considering buying producer version Addictive Drums totally blows Session Drummer away.

    Paulo, I don't think you read Angus's post very carefully in regards to Win XP, he clearly says he is getting a new PC and moving away from it . Cheers....
