Issue with overlapping clips: Who's on top?

Hello all.

Does anyone know if there's a way to control which audio clip is "on top" with overlapping clips? It seems to work like this: when you have 2 clips that are in one track and are overlapping, the one that was recorded most recently is the one on top. Is there a way that I can select the clip that isn't on top so that it's features, particularly the ability to crop its ends, are visible?

Alternatively, if anyone has a workaround for this, I'm all ears. I notice that the Take Lane feature could be useful for this, however I'm dealing with 6+ drum tracks at a time and slip editing that many at once becomes unwieldy.

Thanks!
