GSnap MIDI Receive

The GVST GSnap pitch correction vst can receive MIDI notes to set the correct pitches. I'm using it to tune individual parts in a large chorus of voices that have been close miked one at a time - some of them are wavering between two pitches causing the vst to wobble between to two discrete notes. Has anyone successfully set up GSnap (or some other VST effect that can respond to MIDI as well as audio) to do this? GSnap is not listed on the output list for the MIDI track - is there  a way to turn this on, or is what I'm looking for impossible.

Sonar 7 Producer.

Thanks, Rob

Try enabling "Configure as Synth" in the GSnap VST properties dialog. Changing the plug-in to a synth will also allow SONAR to send MIDI to it. This has the side effect of moving the effect to the synth list but it will still act like a regular effect plug-in.
