Wayne, That was really awesome for sure. Loved the guitar playing with the big gloves on, that had me laughing pretty good. Great back drop and I loved the temp reading on the thermometer. The falling snow effect really sets the mood on this one. Great work and some good guitar and vocals. Very nice in deed. You have a Blessed and Wonderful Merry Christmas. Peace and Blessings, John

Thanks so much, glad you like! I'm convinced the gloves is the ultimate plug-in for that warm sound (plug the hands in). The left hand actually was very forgiving to play but the right hand was tricky. So hard to hold the pick. I normally use the little fender 358's (small tear drop, some call mandolin picks) but here I had to use the full size picks others had left behind. What would really have helped would have been the large triangle ones. This was my first use of my new Rode NTG 3 shotgun mic. I got it so I could place it a bit further out and keep it out of the field of view. I felt it worked well. I did have to turn the gain up a fair amount after tracking (perhaps I was being cautious on my input levels while tracking), and due to the increased distance (lips to capsule) the was a certain loss of proximity reponse making it sound brighter than what I'm used to. I am happy with the detail though :) Guitar was plugged into a Mesa Boogie Formula preamp, to interface. Cheap earbuds allowed me to hear the track and my guitar (vox too) The snow and trees are real and in my yard, though the footage was two weeks ago, My performance, and the thermometer were shot in front of a green screen in my living room. What a crazy and fun world we live in! Merry Christmas.

Very nice, I can't understand how you got the guitar to stay in tune in such a cold environment.
